1). Does hotel key card advertising work?

A). Just ask Pizza Hut and Dominos. They have been aggressively partnering with hotels for the last 10 years. They are currently trying to partner with major hotel chains.

3). How do I get my local hotels to use my keys?

A). Below is the most common & successful way. It is more economical to try and get several hotels to all use the same key. This is usually harder to do unless your hotels are desperate for free keys. Good Luck!

1. List the hotels that are currently in your delivery area. Use Yahoo Yellow Pages if you need help.
2. Match up the hotels in your area with the "Hotels to Target" table from FAQ #2.
3. Purchase a "Hotel Sales Kit" (Optional)
4. Visit each of your targeted hotels, meet with the GM and determine the following:
• Do they use compatible keys? Reference FAQ #5
• Is anybody currently sponsoring their keys?
• If no, would they consider letting you sponsor their keys?
• If yes, what artwork requirements do they have regarding their hotel logo, phone, fax, etc?
• How many rooms do they have and what occupancy do they average?
• Tell them you will be back in a week with their first box of keys (assuming Rapid Deployment are available to your franchise) and an artwork proof of what their bulk shipment of custom keys will look like.
• Get a business card & thank them.
5. Return to our website, determine how many custom keys you should order (reference FAQ #4) and place your custom key order and also order 1 box (500) of Rapid Deployment keys.
6. When you receive your Rapid Deployment keys in 2-4 days, deliver them to the hotel along with a printed copy of the artwork proof that was e-mailed to you by us.
7. If the artwork is acceptable reply to our e-mail with your approval.
8. Repeat steps 4 through 7 for each of your targeted hotels.

4). How many keys do I need for the each hotel?

A). The table below shows the recommended number of keycards to order based on how many rooms the hotel has and will last the hotel for approximately one year.

5). Which hotel keycards are compatible with Pizzakeycards.com?

A). 95% of hotels use the standard credit card size plastic key. This is one of two style keys available to purchase here. The other style key is referred to as a Slim Key (both the credit card size key and slim key are pictured below).

There are some other types of hotel key cards listed below that we do not currently make.

1. Vingcard with holes in the key.
2. Microchip keys: Plastic keys containing a microchip.
3. Old Turn Keys: Traditional key still being used in some old hotels.

Slim keys can be made upon request. We recommend that you request sample keys to take to hotel to test in locks and side door entries. Sample keys are included in the Hotel Sales Kit.

6). Why aren’t Rapid Deployment keys available to my franchise?
